    Description

A kit for measuring volume flow at ventilation grilles and plate valves: the testo 440 instrument, a 100 mm vane probe with Bluetooth and the testovent 417 funnel set. The funnel guides all the air from the outlet through the probe, so the result is accurate and there is no need to measure at several points. The probe connects to the instrument wirelessly up to 20 m away, which is handy at the ceiling. The testo 440 dP instrument also has a built-in differential pressure sensor for measuring pressure drop across filters and units.

The round Ø 200 mm funnel is for plate valves, the square 330 × 330 mm funnel for grilles up to about 300 × 300 mm. Both funnels travel in a handy case, and the probe is attached with the included bracket. The instrument saves results as reports.

    Where it helps

    • Balancing plate valves in flats
    • Measuring volume flow at grilles
    • Ventilation handover reports
    • Quick readings without the multi-point method
    • Cable-free work at the ceiling
    • Pressure drop across filters
