    Description

    An instrument for hydronic balancing of heating, cooling and domestic hot water systems. It measures differential and static pressure and calculates the flow through a balancing valve or measuring orifice, showing the results in a smartphone app connected via Bluetooth. The valve is chosen from a picture menu by manufacturer, type, size and setting, so you don’t need to look up the kv value in a catalogue. Use it to set every riser and unit to the design and check the whole system.

    The measuring unit is connected to the balancing valve’s test points with hoses and needles, while the measurements are controlled and viewed on a smartphone — the unit has no display of its own. It can be left connected as a data logger, for example to follow pressure changes in the system. To use it you need your own smartphone with the free Danfoss app.
