    Description

A kit for measuring carbon monoxide (CO) concentration indoors: the testo 440 dP instrument and a wireless CO probe with a long-term stable electrochemical sensor. CO forms when gas, oil or solid fuel burns incompletely, and it has no colour or smell, so it can only be detected with a measuring instrument. Use the kit to check boiler rooms, rooms with gas appliances, fireplaces and stoves, and the area around heating systems. Readings appear on the instrument up to 20 m away via Bluetooth.

The kit includes the instrument, the CO probe and a case. A button on the probe handle saves single readings without touching the instrument. The built-in differential pressure sensor lets the same instrument also measure pressure drop across filters. Results are saved as reports and transferred to a PC.

    Where it helps

    • Checking CO in boiler rooms
    • Rooms with gas appliances, fireplaces and stoves
    • Checks during heating system service
    • Workplace safety checks
    • Pressure drop across filters
